QA Engineer

Contribute to product development by working closely with product owner; Work closely with team members to improve quality into product as early as possible. This position is based in Lakes Success, NY.

• Refinement of acceptance criteria
• Develop test criteria
• Execute manual tests
• Collaborate with automation team to come up with test scripts.
• Basic troubleshooting with logs
• Work closely with development and product team to identify and resolve issues.

• 2+ years of total experience working in similar job responsibilities in agile environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, with both technical and non-technical associates.
• Ability to comprehend complexity, to fully understand a product with all of its business and technological implications, and to approach the improvement of its quality from that perspective.
• Ability to detect ambiguity and bring clarity at story and feature description.
• High degree of efficiency and motivation in work habits.
• Basic knowledge of SQL query is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of automation is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of any scripting is a plus.
• Desire and ability to learn new skills and improve upon current skills.
