Billing Systems Engineer

• Design and build distributed systems to meter trillions of events per day
• Analyze and automate billing workflow
• Work with Hadoop, Spark, Luigi and other open-source technologies
• Join a tightly knit team solving hard problems the right way
• Own meaningful parts of our service, have an impact, grow with the company

• You have a BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field
• You have worked with large-scale, metering/billing systems for SaaS companies
• You relish automating complex tasks with code
• You tend to obsess over code correctness, simplicity, and automated testing
• You want to work in a fast, high growth startup environment

Bonus Points

• You have designed/built multiple metering/billing systems
• You are deeply familiar with a distributed computing framework like Hadoop or Spark
• When you build a new service, you write your own Chef or Puppet code
• You are familiar with a handful of programming languages
