Summary
The Analytics Manager, Online Marketing is responsible for developing reporting and analysis that provides recommendations for improving performance of our online marketing efforts. This position is also responsible for management of our mobile marketing program, including text-to-give, mobile alerts, and mobile marketing keywords. The Analytics Manager will provide support for our digital advertising program.
Responsibilities
**Primary Duties And Responsibilities:** * Responsible for assisting the entire Division with reaching financial goals. * Manage online marketing reporting and analysis for a portfolio of fundraising programs. Specifically: * Create and produce reporting that accurately tracks the performance of the Jimmy Fund’s online marketing programs and initiatives, including multi-channel, email, website, mobile, and others. * Create new reporting that provides meaningful and actionable analysis from data. * Run existing reports and provide analysis that includes recommendations for improvement. * Develop actionable recommendations for improvement of online marketing programs. * Manage reporting projects, meeting all deadlines. * Develop improved reporting templates, guidelines, and processes. * Work with other teams and departments to understand the effect of marketing strategies on program performance and to integrate analysis into comprehensive reports. * Use Google Analytics to develop dashboards for website reporting. * Manage Google Analytics tracking implementation and work with internal teams and vendors to maintain and enhance tracking. * Manage our mobile marketing program. Work with internal team and vendor to develop a strategic mobile marketing plan. Create and execute mobile marketing campaigns, including text-to-give, text alert, and new campaigns. Provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to improve performance. * Provide support for our digital advertising program. * Promote and train the Division of Development on best practices in online analytics and mobile marketing. * Oversee vendors, as appropriate. * Manage special projects, as appropriate. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** * There is no supervisory responsibility for this position. This individual will work with a variety of individuals throughout the Institute, but the position is primarily self-governing.
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years’ experience developing online marketing reporting and meaningful analysis for websites, email, social media, mobile, and multi-channel campaigns. * Ideally, 1+ years’ experience developing and implementing mobile marketing campaigns * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Bachelor’s degree or higher **Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required:** * Excellent understanding of online marketing metrics for websites, email, social media, and mobile. Demonstrated ability to extract meaningful analysis from data. * Expertise in Google Analytics. * Ability to provide meaningful, action-oriented analysis via written reports and oral presentations to teams and senior management. * Strong understanding of database marketing, email marketing, and segmentation strategies. * Strong understanding of database marketing. * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide quality service to the Division of Development and to a variety of departments throughout the Institute. * Knowledge of social media platforms, tools, metrics and strategies * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. * Passionate about online marketing and up-to-date with latest tools, trends and strategies * Familiarity with web and email production * Strong knowledge of mobile marketing strategies (including text-to-give), best practices, metrics, tools, and trends.
