Summary
As a Senior IT Business Analyst at CVS Health, you will be working on projects within our Omnicare line of business, which provides healthcare services for patients in long-term care facilities. CVS Health's Omnicare Pharmacy team is driven by a vision to "improve the quality of human life” of those we serve by making innovative and high-quality health and pharmacy services safe,affordable, and easy to access. The Senior IT Business Analyst is essential to ensuring the successful development and implementation of long-term care (LTC) applications used in these facilities. The Senior IT Business Analyst is responsible for guiding the requirements and analysis phase of assigned projects, including developing Business Requirement Documents and Solution Requirements Packages. As part of CVS Health’s IT Business Analysis department, you will be working on projects that are vital to the integration of Omnicare into CVS Health’s overall service offerings.
Responsibilities
* Working autonomously on small to medium-sized projects including:planning, requirements management, elicitation, and analysis * Collaborating with Project Managers, Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts, and IT Partners * Eliciting and documenting business, functional and non-functional requirements. * Translating potentially ambiguous, complex business problems into clear, measurable requirements * Assisting senior members during the business analysis effort on large-sized projects * Playing a leadership role in business problem-solving * Driving innovative technology solutions aligned with CVS Health’s business strategies * Providing mentoring and feedback to Junior Business Analysts
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications:** - 3+ years of experience in Business Analyst role, including experience writing business requirements - 3+ years of experience working in the Software Development Life Cycle - including experience with process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, data analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience developing use cases for using a software development methodology - Experience facilitating design discussions as related to understanding requirements - Experience with one or more SDLC methodologies - Writing and Verbal skills with a meticulous attention to detail, to communicate information effectively to leads, managers, and technical staff - Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, project management, and technical staff) - Modeling skills, to represent requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language - Organizational skills, to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while also working with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis, and to cope with rapidly changing information **Education:** Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required. If no Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of Business Analyst experience is required.
