Banking Operations Specialist - Mandatory Corporate Actions

This Role includes support of Prime Broker clients, Firm accounts, Stock Lending, and Failed Trades. Processing domestic and global events for mandatory corporate actions. Assisting in desk requests for clients. Analyst is expected to become proficient in market rules and regulations and effectively communicate and apply those requirements for each mandatory corporate event which include stock mergers, reverse splits, maturities, and exchanges. A successful candidate will master the corporate actions process from origination to completion. They will also become a subject matter expert on rules and regulations in domestic and global markets, as well as develop working relationships with the middle office and agent banks.

* Experience: * 2-5 years work experience, financial services/mortgages/fixed income experience preferred. * Investment Banking Operations experience preferred. * Detail oriented. * Ability to prioritize and work well under deadlines. * Solid verbal and written communication skills. * Solid analytical skills. * Able to work in a team environment. * Essential: * Solid PC skills (Microsoft Packages – Word and Excel). * Desirable: * Previous Income/Equities experience. * Four-year degree in a business related program.
