Summary
We’re seeking an analytics leader to manage and build an Analytics function within the Partnerships organization. In this role, you will create data-driven business recommendations to support the success of our Credit Card Partnerships function. This role has high-visibility to senior leaders and will contribute meaningfully to Credit Karma’s revenue growth. You’ll work directly with our Chief Revenue Officer, VP of Partnerships, and Senior Directors Credit Card Partnerships. In coordination with this team, you will drive and influence recommendations that meaningfully grow & improve Credit Karma’s business. As the founding leader of the partner analytics function, you’ll create frameworks for evaluating decisions and custom-design a function uniquely suited to the challenges and demands of our department. And you’ll do all of this within a high-growth technology company whose mission is making financial progress possible for Credit Karma's members.
Responsibilities
* Play a leadership role in guiding strategy for the credit cards business through in-depth analysis of business problems and opportunities * Leverage internal and external data to develop business recommendations that generate value for Credit Karma and our partners * Design performance dashboards to measure the health and risks of our business, and partner with our Business Intelligence function to get them built * Unlike some analytics functions, you are not a service provider. You’re a thought leader to the business, presenting fact-based recommendations that drive the Credit Karma business forward * Success in the role will correlate closely to your ability to influence business decisions and identify opportunities for growth or improvement
Ideal Candidate
* Experience building and mentoring high performing analytics teams * Executive presence with the ability to succinctly, confidently and articulately defend and challenge positions in both verbal and written communications * Intellectually curious, almost to a fault. You seek to deeply understand businesses and processes through thoughtful data analysis, enhanced by building networks and gathering context across the organization * The ability to communicate complex, sophisticated analytical insights simply to technical and non-technical audiences * Team player that doesn’t view fun and work as mutually exclusive * Prior industry experience in lending and digital marketing * Master's degree in highly quantitative field (applied math, statistics, econometrics, engineering) and/or 7 years relevant work experience
