Public Relations Summer Intern

Credit Karma is looking for a PR intern to join our small but mighty team. If you’re currently enrolled in a degree that’s related to public relations, communications and/or writing, and you’re interested in gaining a wide swath of marketing/communications experience, read on. This is a great opportunity to learn about corporate communications and product PR.

• Conduct press research and monitor news to support our ongoing media outreach efforts
• Draft articles, pitches, proposals and other materials to support product and company news
• Work with our social media, community, editorial and other teams to support PR initiatives
• Develop and maintain PR databases including media lists, coverage reports, speakers bureau and awards programs
• Assist with PR department administrative coordination

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in public relations, communications or similar discipline
• A strong, clear writer and communicator who can break down complex concepts for reporters, influencers and our members
• A self-starter who takes initiative and knows how to collaborate across teams to get things done
