Summary
Credit Karma is looking for a data-driven, results-oriented Marketing Associate to execute and support direct-response marketing campaigns. You will have frequent interactions with senior management and direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You must be able to handle several different tasks concurrently; quickly pick up analytical skills to make data-driven marketing decisions; and coordinate with the product and engineering team to implement tracking and other functionality necessary for successful campaigns. Marketing experience is not required. We prefer motivated self-starters who love learning, have an affinity for numbers and data, and want to work in an fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunity for ownership and growth.
Responsibilities
* Manage direct-response marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including search, display, and social media * Testing new media opportunities; help assess potential traffic sources, and coordinate negotiation of pricing and terms * Launch new campaigns; includes implementing tracking and proper campaign structure, ad creative development/approval and monitoring campaign performance and making appropriate adjustments * Optimization of campaigns; includes ad, landing page testing, targeting segmentation and optimization, and bid/pricing optimization * Campaign analysis; includes design, execution and analysis of a/b tests and applying knowledge of basic statistics (e.g., sample size, significance) to assess validity of results
Ideal Candidate
* 1-2 years of professional experience in a quantitative field * Technical degree (economics, statistics, engineering, etc.) preferred * Excellent communication skills * Familiarity with SQL and Advanced Excel - or interest and ability to learn * Excited to work in a fast-paced and data-driven environment
