Summary

The Training Specialist provides product and job skills instruction to Service team members to enhance job performance. Develops and delivers customer training courses for remote delivery. The DMS trainer trains Service Implementation and Customer Support team members on the products, best practices, and customer service skills. In addition the DMS trainer aids Instructional Designer in the development of the curriculum for New Hire Training and Continuing Education courses. Develops certification testing criteria as well as researches, writes, organizes, and contributes documentation for training and for the Knowledge Base.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate learning sessions, onsite, remote, webinar
  • Provides feedback to managers of the progress and aptitudes of trainees
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for Dealertrack products
  • Assist in developing and maintaining testing and certification tests and questions for Customer & Team Member certification course content & materials for team member training and certification program, including materials, instructor guides, reviews, activities, training companies
  • Identify new training opportunities for Service teams
  • Listen to client needs and address in a timely manner
  • Establish strong business relationships
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong ability to teach, engage, lead, and manage a classroom of 5-25 students
  • Ability to teach Remote sessions
  • Ability to teach and model Dealertrack’s company values: Operational Excellence, Innovation, Team work, RoleModel/Leadership, Accountability, Client Focused, Knowledge
  • Excellent writing, grammatical, organizational, and speaking skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel
  • DMS experience is a must
