Senior DevOps Engineer

- You will work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple products across the organization to include, but not limited to, Apartments.com. The website infrastructure encompasses 100+ virtual and physical servers, load balancers, and other components. - You will have the rare opportunity to manage almost all components in the full stack, and assist with building out server automation across the entire infrastructure. - You will work closely with developers, product, and QA teams in an agile scrum environment - Ensuring critical systems, applications, and services are always up and running, and monitoring, gathering, and analyzing data from different network sources. - Overseeing and administering the operations and processes of a virtualized environment.

- Expert knowledge of Chef. 2+ years of experience in a Windows or Linux environment. - 5+ years of experience managing a highly available (99.9%) public-facing, front-end web server / website, with a focus on configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. - 3+ years expertise in F5, Web configurations, caching, and content delivery networks. - 5+ years background with the scalable and open architecture of IIS. - 5+ years monitoring experience tools like SCOM, OpenView, AppDynamics, NewRelic, Splunk, Nagios, Keynote. - 3+ years of experience with VM management, preferably VMWare. - 3+ years knowledge of scripting with PowerShell, or equivalent scripting language. - 3+ years, particularly TFS and GIT, as well as branching and merging principles. - 1+ years of experience with configuration and management of SQL Server Databases. - 1+ years expertise with OS and application installation methods. - Understanding and experience with TCP/IP networking concepts and principles. - 2+ years experience with SSIS, to build high-performance data integration solutions, including ETL packages for data warehousing. - 2+ years hands-on experience with AWS or Azure. - 1 year of experience with support of iOS and Android applications. - Systems and web security experience.
