Systems Analyst

* Work closely with government personnel and aerospace industry companies to develop ground-based Radio Frequency (RF) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems. * Participate in the systems engineering process to influence system designs that can maximize system technical performance at the lowest cost * Assist in scoping and conducting system performance trade-off studies to support formal systems engineering reviews (e.g. System Requirements Review (SRR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Test Readiness Review (TRR)). * Support systems engineering analysis to improve the accuracy and fidelity of system-level requirements that guide the development and design of ground-based RF SATCOM systems. * Support system-level requirements traceability analysis to ensure system-level technical requirements trace to subsystem design elements and system test criteria. * Review, draft, and/or provide input on system requirements and design documentation (e.g. Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), A-specifications, subsystem specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and drawings). * Provide technical analysis for briefings, reports, and informational analysis in support of program management cost, schedule, and performance trade-off decisions. * Review government contractual documents for technical accuracy (e.g. Request For Proposals (RFP), Performance Work Statements (PWS). * Support system testing to take a system through contractor system verification testing, developmental testing and operational testing. Work with Integrated Test Team to develop test plans, procedures and analysis.

* Systems Analysis * Knowledge of satellite operations * Signals and RF propagation * US CITIZENS ONLY!! * BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics – years of technical experience considered in lieu of degree. * 4-8 years of engineering expertise * Experience in the space community * Must have Active SSBI Clearance * Good written and oral communication * Salary expectations at $115k * Work location is at customer site in El Segundo, California
