System Engineer

* Provide Air Force Space Command’s Space and Missile Systems Center Space Superiority Directorate with system engineering expertise. * Project and program within this directorate range from full life cycle management of systems – “cradle to grave”, to quick reaction capabilities and prototypes in support of acquisition decisions. * Provide guidance, best practices, compliance, and review of individual program system engineering products in accordance with AF Acquisition and Testing Directives. * Develop, maintain, and update systems engineering processes, procedures, and documentation for technical plans, & recommend solutions/corrections action for discrepancies through implementation. * Individual must be a self-starter and build relationship with government customer and operational users. * Desired Salary at $115,000.

* Bachelor’s' degree in Engineering or applicable discipline * 4-8 years’ experience with 2-5 years of engineering expertise in the development/prototyping field highly desired * Systems Engineering * Knowledge of satellite operations * Antennas * Signals and RF propagation **Requirements** * US Citizenship (Mandatory) * Good communications and speaking skills. * Must have Active SSBI Clearance * Highly desired requirements: * Knowledge of US Air Force Acquisition and Test Directives * Experience with testing prototypes
