Summary
As a Software Engineer on the forecasting engine team you'll design and implement innovative solutions to expose inventory forecasting statistics to end users. Fundamentally, you'll be building a system to allow users to slice and dice, in few-second latency, a dataset with a daily volume of 100B records. If this sounds like an interesting problem.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement new features for Conversant's inventory forecasting engine
* Work closely with other engineers on a small team to deliver highly scalable and testable code
* Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to ensure requirements are clear and meet stated business goals
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years developing backend, data driven applications with Java/Scala
* Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Cassandra or other big data technologies.
* Excellent grasp of CS fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Ad Tech industry experience
