Senior Software Engineer in Test

Sr. SET plays a critical role at Conversant Engineering and is responsible for testing AdServer Applications. You will operate at a Senior/Lead level and act as a mentor for the junior members of the team. You will write automation code. You will work closely with developers in order to define and expand test coverage for the applications.

* Write Java test automation code in support of the Ad Server applications. * Work in an Agile (SCRUM) environment and test features about to be released to production. * Troubleshoot and debug Java applications. * Use your creativity to find problems with Ad Server applications and work with development team to correct them. * Mentor junior members of the team and grow them to become more competent testers. * Apply your knowledge to come up with test strategies, create pass conditions and work with Product team to ensure overall quality

* BS in Computer science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience. * 4+ years of hands on Linux experience. * Must be comfortable with the command line: navigation, running scripts, setting up an environments etc. * 6+ years of hands on Core Java experience. Must be familiar and comfortable with Threads, Design Patterns, "Clean code" practices. * Rock solid understanding of OOP principles. * Solid understanding of UML.
