Summary
Provides highly complex and comprehensive analysis for items related to Revenue Growth Management. May include analysis in the areas of price list and price strategy, promotions strategy and realization, and/or trade operations. Analyzes market trends, product volume, margin and competitive prices, and/or promotional tactics and strategies and provides recommendations to management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as central resource for pricing and trade reporting and analysis across RGM team - The individual will bring visibility, transparency and analytical rigor to pricing and trade promotions working closely with other members of the RGM organization - Build our key performance indicators for pricing and trade - Create and distribute clear and consistent price impact reporting to brands and customer teams - Use analytics to challenge key stakeholders to course correct
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with emphasis in finance and/or accounting, MBA/CPA is a plus - 5+ years of business experience, 1-3 years of CPG experience is preferred - Strong knowledge of CAG customer base ideally with experience in Sales Finance or Brand Finance - Very good verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated professional and academic success - Exceptional PC skills required (Microsoft Office- spreadsheets, database management, presentations, word processing etc.) - Communication skills – advanced writing and communication skills, and be able to interact and persuade individual levels senior to him or her, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various parts of the organization (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance) - Analytical skills – the individual must be able to follow detailed instructions to perform complicated financial analyses, as well as determine basic analyses required to support various teams in their trade and pricing decisions (e.g., structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results) - Demonstrate ability to manage multiple stage projects to their completion - IRI or Nielsen experience
