Max & Erma's at the Holiday Inn/Roberts Centre in Wilmington is looking for exceptional and experienced line cook to join our team. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years previous line cook experience in a high volume casual dining restaurant (fast food experience not included). We are looking for a skilled cook who is dependable, can follow recipes, and has a commitment to consistency and producing a quality product.

* Confers with manager on duty about prep list to determine requirements of the day. * Follows company recipes and procedures when preparing or cooking food. * Works in a clean, efficient and organized manner. * Audits guest checks to be certain all food items are rung up properly. * Maintains a high standard of hygiene and appearance. * Helps to control costs and waste. * Observes good sanitation and safety procedures. * Maintains sense of ownership in respect to kitchen equipment. * Works effectively and professionally with other departments of the restaurant. * Assists in opening/ closing duties and clean-up work as required. * Adheres to policies as set forth in associate handbook and department manuals. * Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills** * Highly organized. * Good communication skills. * Basic culinary skills. * Knowledge of basic food safety regulations. **Required Experience** Previous cooking experience in a fast paced casual dining restaurant is preferred.
