Tax Senior Manager

To work in an expanding international tax practice and manage the delivery of a full range of international tax services to U.S. and foreign multinational companies. This position offers the opportunity for well qualified candidates to advance their career to the next level.

• Research and writing technical memoranda on a variety of complex international tax issues, developing planning ideas for clients, reviewing international aspects of FAS 109 calculations and FIN 48 analyses, reviewing international aspects of tax returns (1118s, 5471s, etc), managing client relationships and working with a team of international tax professionals to develop new client opportunities and provide high quality international tax services to clients.
• You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the broader CohnReznick team in delivering the highest quality service to our clients; interact directly with our clients on a regular basis to better understand and serve their needs; and grow and develop your career with support and mentoring from more experienced Certified Public Accountants in the accounting, auditing, and tax areas of the Firm, as well as through your regular participation in internal and external Continuing Professional Education programs.

• At least 7 years of experience in international taxation with a public accounting firm, law firm or internal tax department of a multinational company.
• Experience preferred in the following areas:
  • Taxable and tax free reorganizations
  • 367 issues
  • Foreign tax credit
  • Subpart F and other anti-deferral rules
  • Currency issues
  • Withholding taxes
  • Treaty issues
  • Planning with partnerships and disregarded entities
  • Transfer pricing and
  • Foreign tax reduction strategies
