Accounting Associate

As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee our accounting operations. This person is a key resource for the firm and will assist the Chief Financial Officer with the firm’s accounting activities including budget maintenance, verifying all financial transactions and preparing monthly financial reports. A successful candidate will possess a high level of initiative, professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

* Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules * Responsible for all journal entries and monthly bank reconciliations * Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing * Responsible for accurate and timely accounts payable and accounts receivable processing * Annual audit coordination and liaison with external auditors * Assist with Federal and State tax returns, quarterly estimated payments, BWC and CAT filings * Assist with budgeting process

* Undergraduate degree is required; Accounting, Finance or relevant * Current State of Ohio CPA license preferred * 3 -5 years relevant Accounting experience * Experience using Peachtree/Sage 50 preferred * High ethical standards * Critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities and a high attention to detail * Able to multi-task and remain organized and focused in a high-paced environment
