Senior Program Manager

The Sr. Program Manager - Service Delivery, reports to the Sr. Manager, IoT Service Delivery, and will be a liaison between our internal operational teams, (Sales and Marketing, Product, Engineering and Operations) and our Operator Partners. The person in this role will project manage the delivery of Cisco Jasper IOT service platform at the Operator enabling them to quickly be enabled to sell the Cisco Jasper solution. They will help facilitate ongoing account management and work with the team at Cisco Jasper to help cultivate solid relationships with launched Operators, and promote best practices for new Operators as they prepare to go to market. Additionally, they will use feedback from the onboarding process to help continuously improve the overall process so that best practices continue to improve throughout the product life cycle.

* This position is responsible for Project Management and Delivery of Jasper IOT platform with Operator partners. * Must work cross-functionally to establish good and trusted relationships with both internal and external customer teams * Clarify all technical design details and manage any design and delivery escalation issues. * Work closely with key operator staff (on site, via web ex) throughout the Delivery process to resolve any issues blocking a successful outcome for a signed agreement. * Understand all technical steps required for implementation and launch and develop / manage a mutually agreed upon project plan. * Identify issues and work with the Cisco Jasper Product and development teams to prioritize and eliminate them in a timely manner. * Gather operator feature requirements and communicate these to the relevant Jasper functional teams clearly and efficiently. * Responsible for the delivery of all IOT platform implementations with signed operators and for the transition of the Operator to the (operational) Solutions Engineering team. * Maintain technical proficiency on all aspects of the IOT platform, including product capabilities, features, and planned enhancements.

* Bachelor degree of Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent work experience required (advanced degree preferred). * Must be fluent in Mandarin * PMP or Master degree of IT Project Management required * Demonstrate successful Project Management experience in a customer environment. * Prior Telecommunications management experience required * Experience in IOT/M2M/ connected devices desired. * Ability to work independently and within tight deadlines. * Experience working with multi-national entities remotely, leveraging conferencing tools such as WebEx to coordinate virtual meetings. * 3+ years of GSM / GPRS experience in a technical capacity * Knowledge of GSM / GPRS core network architecture, IP switching and routing concepts, firewalls preferred * Superior analytical, communication, presentation and customer interfacing skills. * Superior communication skills required. * Foreign language skill preferred * Working knowledge of typical desktop software: MS Office, Power Point, Excel, Visio, MS Project. * Must be willing to travel +25% * Will be based in Santa Clara, California.
