RN Clinical Manager (Utilization Management) - Chicago (Sign-on Bonus Available)

UM Supervisor will assist with the development, implementation, and management of UM department functions, achievement of departmental goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

* Assists with staff trainings; Acts as a preceptor for new staff * Creates educational tutorials, as directed * Acts as the designated Interqual trainer/ performs annual Inter-Rater Reliability testing (This is an NCQA requirement – which is a contractual requirement) * Monitors staff performance, as directed * Provides monthly UM metric reporting for use in staff evaluation * Assists with meeting facilitation * Attends applicable committees, as assigned * Acts as a resource to staff/Fills in for staff vacations etc., as needed * Keeps current on regulatory and company-wide changes impacting the UM program * Assists the manager with policy/procedure updates

**Requirements:** This position requires a current, unrestricted license in Illinois as a Registered Nurse (RN); dual licensure in IN is a plus. The supervisor is required to have access to personal transportation in order to ensure that they are able conduct onsite visits with members and providers. **Qualifications:** * Three or more years in clinical and case management environment including at least one year of supervisory level experience is preferred. At least 1 year of UM experience preferred. **Qualified candidates will possess the following:** * Recent managed care Utilization Management experience with Interqual * Excellent computer skills * Recent or prior Supervisory experience preferred * Confident presentation skills/excellent verbal communication skills * Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time with ability to prioritize projects * Diplomacy skill Bilingual skills in Korean, Mandarin, Polish, Russian, Arabic, and/or Spanish are a plus.
