Summary
The Safety, Security & Risk Standards Coordinator (“Coordinator”) is responsible for supporting Chipotle restaurants in their cash handling and safety best practices, primarily through remote checks of cash handling standards using video, telephone, and document review. The coordinator will work on a team and will call Chipotle restaurant managers, coordinate delivery of documents from Chipotle restaurants to our Safety, Security & Risk team, evaluate documents for compliance with Chipotle’s standards, use video surveillance to review conduct in the restaurants, and document the results of the review on a web based tool.
Responsibilities
•Calling restaurant managers and requesting materials •Performing thorough and consistent remote reviews to ensure Chipotle’s cash handling procedures are being adhered to •Preparing written, online, cash handling review reports to send all field leaders associated with the restaurant •Clearly articulating and explaining audit findings with restaurant management & field leaders •Working closely with Safety, Security & Risk field teams to prepare a market summary of cash audits for the field leaders •Coordinating and organizing large amounts of incoming and outgoing paperwork •Reviewing video transactions and investigating any unusual findings •Reporting on the state of any founded internal theft, and assisting as needed in further follow-up, including with police •Attending quarterly trainings in various locations with Safety Security & Risk Executive Director and/or Loss Prevention Manager
Ideal Candidate
•Have a B.S. /B.A. – Any degree holder with good writing skills and a keen, analytical mind is invited to apply; or an equivalent in education and experience •Possess strong investigative and analytical skills with the ability to understand and translate data •Effectively write, communicate, and present credible information •Be extremely honest, energetic, enthusiastic, and positive •Have demonstrated judgment and mature business skills •Provide accurate data in a timely manner •Have knowledge of and the ability to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite •Enjoy leading, training, motivating and coaching others
