Responsibilities

About the Position

  • The Digital Marketing Manager, reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns and email-based member communications for WBEZ. The Digital Marketing Manager will execute campaigns that deliver on member acquisition, retention and revenue goals.

  • The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who possesses a well-rounded digital marketing background with an emphasis in email and direct marketing. A strong communicator, qualified candidates will have a proven track record of project management experience and a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed goals. This individual must feel comfortable working in a team environment, able to complete quality projects on time, while maintaining a relentless attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day aspects of all email marketing campaigns, including member retention and win-back strategies.
  • Coordinate all lifecycle email marketing programs with results-oriented point of view.
  • Develop, execute and optimize digital acquisition marketing campaigns across paid search, social media and display.
  • Supports the reporting and analysis of all digital marketing.
  • Develop and manage digital marketing optimization, testing and quality assurance.
  • Identify emerging media and online marketing trends and develop opportunities into actionable plans.
  • Partner with internal teams to support digital marketing initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Support overall member marketing efforts as required.
Ideal Candidate
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience executing email marketing programs and associated tactics
  • 2+ years of building and optimizing campaigns via Google AdWords and Facebook
  • Skilled at optimizing CSS & HTML for email
  • Clear understanding of online marketing tactics and measurements
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and have excellent judgment
  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM and email best practices
  • Strong, clear communicator, both written and verbally
  • Team player with strong ability to execute
  • Demonstrated self-starter
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar analytical software
  • Eloqua and Salesforce experience a plus.
