Summary
We are seeking a Software Quality Analyst (QA) to work alongside our development team. If you have a love for quality processes and an eye for detail, we need your help. The Software QA is a “tester” and will play a critical role in our group. Essentially, you will be the bridge between our developers and our customers. Our development team publishes new features and fixes continuously and our loyal and passionate users rely heavily on our software. As a top Software QA, you will test processes to ensure that the product continues to impress and create more happy users.
Responsibilities
The Software QA is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities within it to ensure that objectives are met and solutions work as expected. We expect each solution to be measured in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility. * Identify shortcomings in software updates and work within a team for a resolution, adhering to appropriate design, development and quality standards in mind * Use CentralReach best practices to develop test cases and test plans on a per-release basis * Continuously implement and improve software testing processes * Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks * Perform exploratory testing across multiple platforms to provide usability feedback * Communicate new features and bug fixes to the support and marketing team members * Assist the support team in tracking down bugs and sending them to the development team
Ideal Candidate
* Entry level to 3 years of demonstrated experience in similar role required * Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple cases simultaneously * Professional verbal and written communication skills * Understanding of web technologies and client/server communications * Can meet and/or exceed deadlines set for QA testing for individual solutions * Strong familiarity with Apple computers and software, Mac OS and iOS for mobile devices is a HUGE plus * Demonstrated proficiency with html, javascript, c# or SQL is a plus
