Summary
As a Software Engineer in Test you are responsible for building automated test suites to evaluate our best in class applications. This position will work closely with development and test engineering teams to automate testing and release processes. You will work with product managers and developers to translate acceptance criteria to testable technical deliverables that perform white and grey box testing.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain test automation suites using C# and NUnit * Work as part of a development team to create the tests and frameworks that perform white and grey box testing * Responsible for testing high performing/scalable, multithreaded applications that support millions of concurrent users
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications and Experience** * 3+ years of experience in software development or test automation * Understanding of test automation frameworks and patterns * Excellent coding skills in C# or Java * Windows OS and/or Linux experience * Git or similar file versioning experience * Strong knowledge of SQL queries * Experience with Continuous Integration platforms like TeamCity * Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or similar language **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Message Queues * Experience with IIS * Experience with Amazon S3 * Knowledge of Big Data Platforms (Hadoop, Drill, Cassandra) **Education, Training and Travel** * BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience **Communication and Cognitive Abilities** * Critical thinking skills * Strong sense of ownership * Excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities, and proven design skills
