Cadence is a leading provider of EDA and semiconductor IP. Our custom/analog tools help engineers design the transistors, standard cells, and IP blocks that make up SoCs. Our digital tools automate the design and verification of giga-scale, giga-hertz SoCs at the latest semiconductor processing nodes. Our IC packaging and PCB tools permit the design of complete boards and subsystems.
Summary
In this role, the Account Manager of Technology (AMT) is responsible for driving the adoption and growth of the Custom IC solutions in their respective territory. Custom IC solutions include the Virtuoso environment (schematic, layout, and analysis), circuit simulation and DFM product lines.
Responsibilities
These responsibilities include: leading pre/post-sales campaigns, growing run-rate, closing technical campaigns and assisting Account Executives with booking sales in the territory. Additionally, the ability to foster and grow customer relationships to better connect our solutions with the customer's problems and insure roadmap alignment is essential for long term success. The role requires working in a team environment, including: leadership for supporting AEs and coordination/facilitation of interaction between customers and Cadence Marketing/Engineering. Previous experience with Custom IC solutions (Cadence and/or competitive) is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
* BSEE, or equivalent, with 5-10 yrs industry and sales experience is required. MBA is a plus. * Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in customer facing roles, which requires excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. * Will strongly consider people looking to transition from CAE/AE /PE / PMktg roles in the EDA/ electronics industries to highly compensated sales roles.
