Responsibilities
* Working knowledge of procedures and tools for characterizing fundamental signal parameters. * Working knowledge and understanding of the physical theory behind electromagnetic propagation in dynamic systems * Researches unclassified and classified databases for use in written products. * Researches, compiles, evaluates and integrates Signals Intelligence into Intelligence Community assessments and reports, and based on US National and theater priorities. * Prepares the SIGINT related portions of intelligence products and assessments * B.S. college degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field, or formal training in Digital Signal Processing plus two years relevant experience * Minimum of five (5) years of experience in signals analysis. * Demonstrated proficiency in communicating technical and analytical information in written products.
Ideal Candidate
**Desired skills:** * M.S. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field. * PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field. * Three (3) years of experience using X-Midas. * Three (3) years of experience using M2Extra. * Relevant experience processing spread spectrum signals. * Relevant experience processing BPSK signals. * Relevant experience processing FSK signals. * Experience performing RF surveys and signal locating. * Experience in design, development, or testing of weapons systems. 12. Five (5) years or more experience measuring RF phenomenology. * Experience training techniques of Digital Signal Processing and RF measurements. **Required Qualifications:** * Education and Experience: Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience. Must maintain active/current TS/SCI clearances.
