Summary
Provide legendary customer service experience for every customer by serving as a training mentor for departmental Outfitters. Responsible for educating Outfitters on all product information and selling techniques with a major focus on branded products.
Responsibilities
* Teach and develop Outfitter skills regarding the use and selling of company products with a focus on Cabela's branded merchandise. Responsible for follow-up assessments of Outfitter retention of product knowledge and selling skills they have coached. Ability to adjust training methods based upon evaluation and feedback from assessments. * Demonstrate the ability to mentor Outfitters on speaking to product specifics, conducting proper customer interactions and resolving customer issues. Instructor lead weekly/monthly product demonstrations to customers and Outfitters. Partner with merchandising and training partners to identify future training needs. Assist in-store training team with department specific training programs and roll-outs. * Field tests and submits written reports on products to initiate and impact research and development. Educates fellow Outfitters on proper use of products through demonstrations. Educates customers on proper use of products through group seminars. * Assure visual presentation standards are met by up-keep and maintenance to include, but not limited to restock, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed. * Other Duties as Assigned by Management.
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma or Equivalent * 2 to 4+ Years’ Experience * Must pass Product Specialist Test (required) * Must have the ability to sell and evaluate the customers’ needs (required) * Ability to use good judgment and logic (required) * Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations (required) * Hiring preference is given to those with solid sales experience, extensive technical knowledge required as evidenced by attaining a passing score on the Product Specialist test and least two to four years of related field experience.
