Account Director

Bread & Butter is a hospitality focused public relations and digital media firm specializing in all things food, drink and travel. Our hands-on, customized approach combines industry experience with media relationships and digital expertise.

The Account Director for Bread & Butter’s San Francisco office will be responsible for overseeing the company’s public relations clients and account teams.

* Ensuring client goals are met, as well as maximizing client retention * Overseeing and mentoring account teams * Ensuring adherence to company practices and standards, as well as culture development * Cultivating talent and new employee recruitment * New business development * Working with the leadership and financial teams to meet budgets & projections

Candidate should possess significant personnel & account management skills, be an action-oriented leader, be able to deliver results and have a passion for excellence. An understanding of and knack for new business development is a must. * 6+ years of hospitality and/or lifestyle PR experience, preferably with agency vs. in-house * High level contacts within San Francisco as well as national hospitality and lifestyle media * Relationships with influencers within the Bay area hospitality industry * Experience managing account teams, budgets & meeting goals
