Summary
Currently we are seeking Sales Representatives (SR) to join our tenacious, agile, and committed Sales Team in Loveland, CO area. The Sales Representative will source and develop profitable new business, maintain and increase existing sales within a given geographical territory, and diversify customers’ product mix by way of new product promotions, optimizing the coffee and beverage experience and equipment optimization to increase customer profitability and sales growth. This position will partner closely with the DSD team to support customer growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
**New Sales / New Accounts** * Develops and executes on own territory specific sales pipeline; advances pipeline and continually fills with new qualified target prospects. * Develops proposals for prospective customers using a variety of resources such as presentations, demonstrations, profit calculator, CQW etc. * Secures profitable new business. * Meets or exceeds assigned annuals sales plan commitment. **Account Management / Sales Growth** * Introduce new products and promotions to increase customer profitability and sales growth. * As a trusted business partner, regularly schedule and lead appointments with customers to provide value-added and mutually beneficial coffee/beverage programs and identify opportunities to increase sales growth, business effectiveness and customer goals. * Continually present new products to secure added line item extension for account profitability, retention and customer engagement. * Gather and share competitive information and industry trends to stay current or in front of existing and emerging market trends and customer demands. * Ensure continuing development of customer loyalty, partnership, retention and profitable growth within accounts. * Develop annual customer plan which supports profitable sales growth strategies for customer and Boyd’s. * Sales Administration and Leadership * Work closely with territory merchandiser to expedite customer sales. * Work closely with all Boyd’s Team members to ensure customer satisfaction and agreed upon expectations. * Complete appropriate pricing request and follow guidelines. * Ensure profitability of account by selling the right products at the right prices based on customer volume and goals. * Maintain customers within credit terms. * Maintain current and complete records on sales activities, communications and account status for each customer and prospect. * Prepare weekly activity report and communicate regularly and effectively with management and departments. * Continually learn new approaches to building sales, e.g. presentations, demonstrations, etc. * Attends special sales and computer training courses, as needed.

Solid PC/Microsoft Office tools/Internet proficient. Presentation/Training/Speaking abilities. * Teamwork and collaboration. * Follow-through for results and success. * Self-motivation, Initiative and accountability. * Ability to effectively communicate and influence key decision-makers. * Analysis, judgment, problem solving and decision making skills. * Highly organized. * Must possess a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and post-offer, pre-employment drug screen. **Minimum Education/Experience:** * Minimum 2 years of successful and demonstrated sales experience. * Experience and demonstrated success as a Boyd Sales Team Member. **Preferred Education/Experience** * Formal education and/or training in business, sales and training **Critical Skills and Expertise** * High degree of accountability, commitment, execution and success in growing profitable business. * Demonstrated successful selling skills; demonstrated success in growing profitable customer relationships and business. * Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Solid PC/Microsoft Office skills and internet proficiency. * Presentation, training and speaking abilities. * Strong ability to build sales team effectiveness and cohesion. Ability to teach, coach, mentor and train. * Teamwork and collaboration skills. * Follow-through for results and success. * Initiative and accountability. * Ability to effectively communicate and influence key decision-makers. * Proven financial skills such as negotiating, calculating customer margins, gross and net profits, rebates, etc. * Analysis, judgment, problem solving and decision making skills. * Excellent product knowledge. * Willingness to travel. **Decision Making and Impact:** The Sales Representative makes decisions related to product, pricing and promotions to drive profitable sales growth. The position has no direct supervisory roles, but provides informal supervision through coaching, teaching and mentoring.
