Responsibilities
* Provide subject matter expertise in systems engineering and integration, requirements management, and analysis support to a DoD client with a primary focus on ground vehicle programs and apply systems thinking and subject matter expertise to aid clients in technology and program development. * Apply model-based systems engineering techniques and tools to develop and mature system models, including behavior, structure, and other architectural elements and comprehend and apply systems engineering best practices. * Comprehend and apply current DoD systems engineering and acquisition guidance. * Prepare and present program status updates to client management with metrics-based reports. * Work well across a distributed team to identify and resolve conflicts and technical issues within platforms, systems, and teams. * Research, draft, and review systems engineering products. * Assist with the development of program milestone documents, including initial capabilities document, capability development document, interface control documents, and system engineering plans.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** - 3+ years of experience with product development or systems engineering and integration projects - Experience with UML or SysML modeling - Experience with DOORS and requirements management - Secret clearance - BS degree in Engineering **Additional Qualifications**: - Knowledge of DoD systems engineering processes - INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification - OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental, Intermediate, or Advanced Certification **Clearance:** - Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
