Vehicle System Engineer

* Support F-35 Joint client integrated product teams (IPT). Provide the programmatic and technical management of prime contractor efforts across the program life cycle regarding air system hardware and software products, including flight control and quality and crew systems * Provide support to the IPTs in the execution of design reviews, production and sustainment planning, certification planning and implementation, verification planning and compliance, requirements and specification assessment and trade-space recommendations, interface management, logistic support analysis, change management, metrics generation, analysis and management, review of technical proposals for Air System products, and support of configuration management activities.

**Basic Qualifications:** - 10 years of experience with engineering and technical expertise - 5 years of experience with engineering in an aviation program - Experience with flight test of flight control systems - Experience with landing systems, fuel systems, crew life support systems, or aircraft power systems - Experience with ACAT I or ACAT II aviation and aerospace programs - Ability to interact with the highest levels of management -S ecret clearance-BA or BS degree **Additional Qualifications:** - Experience with operational aircraft employment - Experience with MDAP program support reviews - Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills - BA or BS degree in Engineering **Clearance:** - Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
