Summary
The Database Marketing Analyst is primarily responsible for developing, administrating, and analyzing initiatives assigned within the Database Marketing business unit/area. This includes assisting with planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts utilizing marketing and project management strategies. This individual is responsible for defining and performing analysis, design, documentation, planning, and deployment of database marketing initiatives and procedures which require moderate marketing and systems knowledge; has understanding of Project Management Methodology and able to manage and/or apply testing for moderate projects; provides day-to-day support, and change control for applications systems.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and execute strategies focused on seamless delivery of customer satisfaction and database marketing initiatives to achieve goals set by the division including design and developing survey and email templates. Creates and modifies database structures to support initiatives. Participate and provide support in design and analysis meetings. Perform testing on moderate projects and enhancements. Ability to read and restart simple job scheduling needs. * Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on database marketing efforts to determine the priority for potential enhancements, supports the product roadmap and assists in developing strategies and tactics to senior management and changes process accordingly. Monitors performance of database marketing initiatives on a daily, weekly, and ad hoc basis. Summarizes results into weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to understand landscape and trends. Participates in meetings with senior, product, and channel management regularly on department performance and marketing trends. * Maintains the integrity of database and marketing systems ensuring that data is accurate, current, and consistent. Ensures that application systems are functioning in a way that complies with established objectives and standards. Diagnose and remediate problems. Perform root cause analysis. Develop and maintain application documentation. Change Control creation, presentation, and management.
Ideal Candidate
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Understanding of single application data flows across multiple applications. * Understanding of technology standards and concepts. * Understanding of Quality/ Testing Methodologies. * Ability to write business requirements * Ability to write functional requirements * Thorough knowledge of marketing standards, principles, guidelines, and rules * Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies * Thorough knowledge of banking products and services This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Analysis, Database Marketing, or a business related field and 3 – 4 years related experience; or 8+ years of work related experience, which includes business application support and project understanding.
