Staff Accountant

Assist the Controller & Accounting team in both day-to-day operations and long term responsibilities * Primary responsibility for accounts payable execution including: vendor setup/payments, corporate credit card, and employee expense reporting management * Own our accounts receivable function, supporting multiple lines of business * Administration of company payroll, working with HR team to ensure accurate semi-monthly payroll * Support in the month end close process and financial reporting * Support implementation of new systems, policies and processes * Assist during the annual external audit process * Assist in additional ad-hoc requests which arise throughout the year

**You will be effective if you have:** * 1-3 years of relevant experience * Strong communication skills * Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll * Experience with NetSuite, Quickbooks or other GL systems * Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet priorities in fast-paced environment * A self-starter with meticulous attention to detail * A masterful grasp of Excel **Bonus Points if you:** * Are working towards or has CPA license * Have demonstrated interest in personal finance & investing * Have experience/knowledge of fin-tech companies and the greater financial industry
