Summary
You are a high performing, highly motivated Senior Accountant with 1-3 years of public accounting, audit experience. You want to join a dynamic and expanding tech startup to apply and expand upon what you have learned auditing a variety of clients. You are looking for an opportunity to take a deep dive into the full financial structure of Belly. The position will report directly to the Director of Finance and has significant growth potential as the Company expands.
Responsibilities
* Assist in developing and executing financial and business reporting to Executives and Investors * Lead month end accounting close and review entries and account reconciliations performed by outsourced book keepers * Support the budgeting and forecasting process * Assist in the documentation of Belly internal controls over financial reporting and key business processes controls * Assist in inventory management * Research, document, and apply technical accounting guidance * Potential opportunity to get involved in analytical research for sales and marketing
Ideal Candidate
* CPA * 1-3 years of public accounting audit experience, with experience acting in a senior associate capacity * Experience in financial services, technology/software development, or manufacturing industries * Experience researching, documenting, and applying technical accounting guidance * Strong intellectual curiosity and love of problem solving * Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment. * Experience managing demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with limited resources or information * High tolerance for ambiguity; ability to prioritize and multitask independently * Impeccable integrity, work ethic and commitment; positive “can-do” attitude
