Claims Manager

Impellam North America is currently seeking a Claims Manager to add to our Corporate Risk Management team in Atlanta, GA.

* Manage claims administration process for multiple jurisdictions * Act as liaison between TPA claim representatives, defense attorneys and branch personnel * Adjust in-house claims * Coordinate return to work for associates with branch personnel and medical facility * Provide settlement authority * Assignment and evaluation of defense counsel * Attend workers’ compensation legal proceedings when necessary * Conduct monthly internal claim reviews for regional service teams * Conduct training for branch personnel * Attend bi-annual claim reviews with TPAs

* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Must be able to deal with sensitive situations and confidential information * Excellent organizational skills * Strong teamwork skills * Excellent verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills * Ability to coordinate with various departments, field personnel and clients * Self-directed, proactive and detail-oriented * Multi-jurisdictional, multi-line experience within the staffing industry is preferred * Professional designations are a plus **Required Experience** * 3-5 years of relevant claims experience, preferably in a corporate risk management environment * Advanced working knowledge of Workers’ Compensation statutory requirements, with strong experience preferred with CA Workers’ Compensation claims management * Advanced working knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) and reporting
