Senior Project Manager

The selected candidate will be responsible for management of schedule, cost, scope, risk, and quality for multiple, complex C5ISR electronic and infrastructure design, installation, production, and sustainment projects. Coordinates project management efforts and is the primary point of contact with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), suppliers/subcontractors, and project team.

* Responsible for the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager. * Coordinates with other units to accomplish assigned work. Advises other Managers on status of work. Interfaces and acts as liaison with customers, contractors, and suppliers. Reviews and recommends changes and resolves technical problems. * Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. * Participates in weekly program business rhythms including collecting and reporting status and metrics, developing program management presentations, initializing baseline change requests, developing estimate to completes, and reporting variances. * Develops, implements, and monitors management and technical systems to control and evaluate unit performance. Executes programs and procedures to meet management and technical project requirements. * Provides technical and operational support and services to ensure quality assurance standards are met in providing support to various project tasks. Develops reports on the progress and status of assigned projects. Initiates corrective action to support task problems and failures. * Maintains and updates action items and program risk/opportunity registers. Participates in developing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) including writing/revising the Statement of Work (SoW) and Basis of Estimates (BoEs) and taking lead for specific ECP elements.

**Minimum Education and Experience:** * Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience **Required Skills and Education:** * Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Management Information Systems from an accredited college or university. **Required Experience:** * Ten (10) years of direct work experience with C4ISR or related electronic systems and equipment * Five (5) years of technical experience in support of commercial or government fuel terminal/pipeline operations or projects * Eight (8) years of direct work experience, to include design, development, production, installation, and test & evaluation of C4ISR or related electronic systems and equipment * Five (5) years project management experience with and practical use of program management tools and techniques including directing project personnel, earned value management, scheduling, proposal and bid preparation, and risk management * Experience managing Automation and/or Control System design and implementation projects. * Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures. * Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, interpersonal relationships, and managerial techniques. **Preferred Skills and Education:** * Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
