Summary
The main function of the Product Analyst of Commercial Division is to assist in the development and build-out of existing commercial product lines and identifying future potential areas of growth. This role is responsible for supporting the revenue growth goals of Atlas’ Commercial Division by assisting in research and development of best in class products and services while minimizing the time to market. The goal will be to provide product solutions for customers and the organization by gaining strong understanding of the needs and opportunities, performing thorough and efficient analysis of alternatives, and summarizing and effectively communicating alternatives to leadership.
Responsibilities
* Develop reports used to measure and enhance success, competitiveness and profitability of current product suite. * Partner with sales, customer service and market research team to identify research opportunities to improve products and services. * Analyze competitors’ products and services as well as industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement. * Develop competitive intelligence to compare and contrast operations and results. Specific examples include compiling competitor rates and overall market pricing levels by product. * Through research, identify potential changes/improvements to product offerings *

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Education/Experience:** * Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, economics, or other quantitative field preferred * Ideal Candidate will have familiarity of insurance concepts or pre-requisite insurance expertise, however entry level candidates will be considered and are encouraged to apply. * Excess & Surplus Lines Knowledge preferred. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to make data driven decisions; proficient in data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong financial, communication and analytical skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proven ability to effectively present technical concepts to non-technical individuals within and outside the organization. * Ability to perform internal and external research. * Ability to foster and encourage teamwork and productive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels and across organizational lines. * Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies and adapt to changes and demands in fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Commitment to continuous knowledge and skills development.
