Summary
Under direct supervision, work with assigned Treasury Management Officer(s) to perform detailed account analysis reviews, create pro forma statements, prepare sales presentations and proposals. Utilize internal or external tools to identify sales opportunities and needs. Additionally, respond to customer questions/inquiries regarding product and/or service implementation. COMPLIANCE STATEMENT Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying customers’ needs comprehensively and matching their needs with selections and resources within the colleague’s assigned business line and across all business lines of Associated Bank. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.
Responsibilities
- Work with CDTM sales team to execute sales and development strategies outlined in the market's Business Plan. Provide on-going sales call preparation strategy, development and customer support for the CDTM sales team. - Analyze competitive account analysis statements and create pricing documents. Preparation of sales presentations and RFPs (request for proposal). - Coordinate and facilitate implementation and billing of new products and services. Follow up with customers to verify proper delivery/use of services purchased. - Support the Bank’s sales objectives and campaigns by cross-selling Bank products, or by referring clients to other Bank personnel responsible for such sales. - Organize, manage and execute special projects such as service upgrades, report monitoring and portfolio analysis. - Mentor, train other sales analysts and sales and support specialist to ensure consistency of activities and results. - Attend industry business development events for the purpose of continuing education, prospecting, and networking. **Other duties and Responsibilities** - Sales Analysts are responsible to evaluate the applicable risks – strategic, reputational, compliance/regulatory, operational, credit, interest rate, liquidity or price/financial – related to the customer sales deals they are working on or activities they perform in their respective job function. - Should the Sales Analyst identify any risks they are to notify the applicable sales representative and escalate these risks to the Director, Sales (as applicable) and/or the Head of CDTM. - In order to effectively identify the applicable risks, Sales Analysts will participate and complete all required training through Associated University, CDTM Sales group training and overall CDTM training. - Additionally, Sales Analysts are strongly encouraged to seek opportunities to expand their knowledge of various risks through self-directed activities such as research of regulations, laws and other activities in consultation with their manager. - Failure to adhere to this risk management culture and requirement may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Business, Finance or related field or equivalent related experience required - Less than 2 years Banking experience Required **Licenses/Certifications** - AAP - Accredited ACH Professional within 1 year preferred - CTP - Certified Treasury Professional within 1 year preferred
