R and D Product Development Specialist

The R&D Product Development Specialist will have a hands-on role in innovating, developing and implementing new product lines utilizing new technologies. This position will work closely with the Director of Business Development.

• Test and evaluate New products
• Provide feedback on adjustments and changes to a product or material formula
• Bring industry knowledge to what is “quality product- benchmark”
• Meticulously Document new Product testing
• Troubleshoot new and existing product
• Digitally photo document entire process.
• Train internal staff, sales, and technical support on processing protocols
• Lecture at Trade show – New products and Techniques
• Present Hold Training seminars
• Moderate travel

• CDT Required
• 8-10 years dental lab industry experience
• 5 years Zirconia Experience
• Extensive knowledge of Color and how it relates to Ceramic materials
• Extensive knowledge of Zirconia shading
• Must be proficient at the following
  • Metal finishing
  • Staining & glazing (all materials)
  • Porcelain layering
  • Waxing and investing
  • Emax process
  • Model and plaster work
  • Metal polishing
• Experience using 3shape, Dental wings or Exocad
• Sirona/ Cerac is a plus
• Skills with the following
  • Power point creation
  • Excel
  • Word
  • Digital Photography
  • Basic digital photo editing
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Delivery and solution focused attitude
• Excellent customer service skills
