* Sell, develop, manage, and conduct a wide variety of industrial hygiene and safety services in the Chicago-area as well as throughout the country primarily consisting of asbestos, lead-paint, hazardous building materials, and IAQ/mold consulting services along with other IH work * Supervisory responsibilities for a team of 5-10 industrial hygiene and safety staff * Managing asbestos and lead-paint surveys and abatement projects, chemical and noise exposure assessments; indoor air and mold investigations, ventilation assessments, and the development and review of health and safety plans (HASPs) * Interfacing with external and internal ARCADIS clients to ensure on time and satisfactory performance on projects * Oversee the preparation of high quality project proposals, reports and deliverables; and coordinate and conduct the necessary review of project documents with in-house consultants, client representatives, contractors and others required to work as a team on the project

**Required Qualifications:** * 9 years of experience in the professional services or consulting business with a strong, current, local presence in the Chicagoland marketplace operating in a seller-doer capacity * Proven experience pursuing and winning contracts with public and private-sector clients * BS in science related discipline or equivalent years of experience * Experience in a client oriented consulting environment with focus on industrial hygiene practice, specifically Asbestos, lead-paint, and hazardous building materials management, chemical and noise exposure assessments, and indoor air quality and mold evaluations, and ventilation system assessments * EPA accredited asbestos inspector, project designer, management planner, project manager and/or supervisor * Knowledgeable of all applicable regulations and codes related to the IH practice * Exemplary problem-solving skills; able to identify problems and implement corrective processes * Possess the ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively to meet or exceed our clients’ expectations * Knowledgeable in project management tools, processes and techniques including financial performance, schedule management, and quality control/quality assurance * Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills * Strong leadership skills; able to prioritize, delegate tasks, and make sound decisions quickly while maintaining a focus on meeting clients’ expectations at a reasonable profit * Chicagoland-local candidates only; must have working history (>3 years) in the Chicagoland area OR have strong book of business contacts in the area **Desired Qualifications:** * 10+ years of experience in the professional services or consulting business, with seller-doer-manager experience for >5 years in the Chicagoland marketplace * IDPH licensed asbestos inspector, management planner, project designer, and/or project manager * Other asbestos state licenses/certifications in Midwest (e.g. IN, OH, MI, WI, MN, etc.) * EPA lead paint inspector or risk assessor and/or lead project designer * Industry recognized certification in industrial hygiene (e.g. CIH, IHT) and/or indoor environmental or air quality consulting (e.g. CIEC, CIAQP)
