Summary
The User Experience team is responsible for delivering products that are approachable and easy to use for new users, yet very powerful and capable of the advanced functionality that our more advanced users require. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be engaged in transforming complex tasks into intuitive, innovative, and engaging designs for AppNexus users around the globe. You’ll lead the design of projects throughout their entire lifecycle: from ideation, to validation, to iteration by collaborating with UX Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers.
Responsibilities
* Architecting and communicating design visions for our products and the end-to-end workflows within them * Measuring UX success and iterating to achieve our business and user goals * Collaborating closely with UX Researchers, Engineers, Product Managers, Technical Writers, Visual Designers, and more * Utilizing user research, and executing it independently when necessary * Leading contributions to our design patterns, component library, standards and team processes * Cultivating a healthy and inquisitive design culture within the team and wider company. Representing the UX team internally and externally
Ideal Candidate
**About your skills:** * Leadership skills that enable you to drive projects independently and successfully, and gain stakeholder confidence * Several years of demonstrated experience in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or HCI (enterprise software or ad tech experience is a plus) * Curiosity and motivation to dig into the details in order to fully understand and improve upon a very technical, complex, and constantly evolving problem space * A collaborative attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and experience mentoring or coaching others * The ability to ideate rapidly and creatively.
