AIS is currently seeking a UI Developer to deliver front end development solutions using Angular for a new project initiative for a previous commercial client. We're seeking a Angular Developer who is passionate about UI and eager to to solve our client's business problems and technical challenges. As a full time, AIS Consultant, the ability to commute to various client sites including our office in Columbia, Maryland and the client site in Baltimore, Maryland is required.
* Work in a team with other smart AIS employees using cutting edge technologies to solve challenging business problems * Build elegant, scalable, extensible, cost effective solutions with an eye towards innovation and agility. * Utilize problem-solving and decision making skills to understand client pain points and to self- troubleshoot as challenges arise. * Draw on at least three years of front end and UI development experience to create custom applications for our clients. * Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgets. * Largely work in an agile environment with participation in daily stand-ups/scrum with iterative development * Design, write, unit test, and document application code to successfully deliver project-based work
Ideal Candidate
**Profile of Success:** * 3 years of experience with UI/front end technologies including advanced AngularJS knowledge including understanding the scope, the ability to write complex directives and a solid familiarity of unit testing AngularJS with Karma and Jasmine * Previous experience with other front end technologies such as CSS, HTML and various JavaScript libraries and frameworks for UI development (Knockout, Bootstrap, jQuery UI, BackboneJS, emberJS , etc) **Other Desirable Skills:** * Knowledge of JavaScript build tools (Gulp, NodeJS, Webpack and NPM scripts) * Familiarity of TypeScript and Angular2+ * Exposure to C# and ASP.NET MVC to develop software solutions * Solid understanding of Microsoft Patterns and Practices with different workflow and integration principles * Desire to blog or present and speak publicly or internally on technical topics
