Summary
Our Midwest Practice is currently seeking Cleared Open Source Software Engineers to support the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program II (ATEPII) and various clients! We're seeking technical professionals who are passionate about software engineering, specifically with technologies such as Python, Django, JavaScript and AngularJS. These opportunities prefer an active clearance with the ability to commute onsite at the Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. The ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is required.
Responsibilities
* Work in a team with other smart AIS employees using cutting edge technologies to solve challenging problems. * Apply advanced knowledge in the areas of engineering, computer science, and information technology for the technical design, development, and implementation of complex programming projects. * Develop solutions unique to client needs. Typical assignments are complex and require use of initiative * Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgets * Work onsite in an agile environment with participation in daily stand-ups/scrum with iterative development.
Ideal Candidate
**Profile of Success:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and 3 years of experience developing software solutions preferred. * Experience using open source web frameworks such as AngularJS or Django (or comparable technologies). * Experience using C/C++. * Utilize understanding of Industry Best Patterns and Practices with principles in guiding application development. * Maintain high ethical and moral standards expected to obtain and continue holding DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance in order to gain access to client sites and networks. **Other Desirable Skills:** * Experience with Linux, JavaScript and .NET. * Experience with Cloud initiatives including SaaS, IaaS and PaaS. * Previous exposure to Big Data, Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, etc. * Desire to blog or present and speak publicly or internally on technical topics. * Ability to work to both on and off Wright-Patterson AFB
