Senior Software Engineer

We are a fairly new tech start-up with an awesome new office space located steps from Sunnyvale Cal-train station. We are focused on taking DevOps from a cultural movement to an easy to use product. We value skill set but also take pride in having a strong company culture.

ApplatiX is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to help us build out our exciting new product through the crafting of high quality code! If you’re looking to make a significant contribution to a company that’s building The Next Big Thing, then look no further!

You'll be involved in the architecture, design, and implementation of the software and systems that powers our product. This includes driving automation with and contributing to our infrastructure platform. Your main focus will be to work closely with the application development and technical operations teams to create an awesome DevOps solution and to be an advocate for code quality and software development best practices.

About You:

• You are a self-starter & have a can-do attitude
• Have experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Are passionate about technology
• Have mastered at least one programming language (Python, PHP, Scala)
• Love identifying and solving complex problems
• Work well under pressure and in a collaborative work environment

Skills You Need:

• BS with 5+ years experience
• Or, MS with 4+ years experience
• Ph. D. with 2+ years experience
• Mastery of fundamental data structures and algorithms
• Experience with operating systems, asynchronous programing, multithreaded programing, IO and file systems
• Experience with C++/C
• Experienced in working with DevOps tools
