Product Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a manager who has prior experience working in the enterprise software market with a strong understanding of technology, and specifically aPaas, BPM, and low-code development platforms. The right candidate will have proven experience in enterprise software marketing with a background creating mid-funnel content a plus. Appian is seeking an experienced and innovative professional to join the Marketing team in the role of Manager, Product Marketing. This role is critical to articulating Appian’s value through the creation of new content aligned to the needs of executive buyers with a focus on middle stages of the buyer journey.

* Lead creation of new product-focused content in support of the Marketing and Sales teams * In collaboration with product managers, develop and train Appian staff on sales positioning on specific product features * Work across the marketing team to help set go-to-market strategy and support digital, partner, and event efforts * Strong writing skills, including experience creating product video copy * Knowledge of app development trends and challenges * Passion for technology and technical knowledge a must

* Ability to create different types of content aligned to the needs of executive buyers with a focus on middle stages of the buyer journey * Strong written and oral communication skills including presentation and facilitation skills * Prior experience using Camtasia or other video creation software desirable * 5+ years of experience (preferably in an Enterprise Software environment) * BA/BS degree required
