Engineering Lead of Internal Tools

We are seeking a strong application owner who is comfortable with full-stack development and implementation. This person must also be a strong individual contributor, as they will be the technical lead on our internal tools codebases and expected to perform code reviews and make technology decisions about our internal tools products.

• Define the interface between customer success and the engineering organization for technical customer issues and manage escalations to engineers
• Work with product management to define the roadmap for Appboy’s internal tools products
• Take ownership of our internal tools products: perform code reviews, develop new features, and make technology decisions for our internal products, etc.
• Management of a team of up to 5 engineering direct reports

• 4-6 years of experience as a software engineer
• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of Ruby
• Excellent communication skills
• Past experience as a lead engineer
