Summary
We are seeking a strong application owner who is comfortable with full-stack development and implementation. This person must also be a strong individual contributor, as they will be the technical lead on our internal tools codebases and expected to perform code reviews and make technology decisions about our internal tools products.
Responsibilities
* Define the interface between customer success and the engineering organization for technical customer issues and manage escalations to engineers
* Work with product management to define the roadmap for Appboy’s internal tools products
* Take ownership of our internal tools products: perform code reviews, develop new features, and make technology decisions for our internal products, etc.
* Management of a team of up to 5 engineering direct reports
Ideal Candidate
* 4-6 years of experience as a software engineer
* Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
* Working knowledge of Ruby
* Excellent communication skills
* Past experience as a lead engineer
