Summary
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Japan America Group, a National Practice Group within Aon Risk Solutions, in Chicago, IL. As a Sales Support Analyst, you will report directly to the Group’s National Managing Director.
Responsibilities
* Primarily responsible for providing professional services to internal Aon clients, and the management of relationships with relevant stakeholders including colleagues, and clients. Services may be in the areas including, but not limited to, administrative support, business continuity, and travel management. * Supporting revenue enhancement activities. Including new business development / production, penetration and client retention. * Will be responsible for responding to Request for Proposals (RFP) using PowerPoint, be the liaison between Aon Marketing team and the Japan Group with creating deliverables for our clients, and data research. * Will be responsible in drafting financial reports for management. These include: Financial management reports, P&L statements (new business revenue and client retention reports) and other administrative reports which assist Managing Director in managing the practice group . * Works on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. * Possesses advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities * Responsible in keeping highly important information including verbal and documentation confidential. * Builds productive working relationships with peers and higher level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations. * Uses knowledge to provide consultative advice and recommendations within specific functional areas * Typically possess at least a few years of business experience, with intermediate knowledge of functional area.
Ideal Candidate
**Required Experience:** * Required to be bilingual in English and Japanese, both verbal and written. * Required to have demonstrated working experience in Japanese business practices * Must be proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. * Requires the ability to work independently with general instruction and the ability to prioritize and organize work. * Requires the application of discretion and independent judgment to determine appropriate action. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or closely related required experience and job responsibilities that are listed above.
