Senior Front End Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to help propel our award-winning video creation service to the next level. As a member of the Front End Team, you will be developing a responsive, elegant web experience and pioneering the next generation of video creation software

* Collaborate with a team of engineers and product developers to develop new features * Write maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code * Maintain design, user experience and brand requirements throughout the development process * Advocate for best practices, great usability and exceptional quality

* 5+ years professional experience building front end web experiences * Solid understanding of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility * Expert knowledge of JavaScript * Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling * Familiarity with server-side MVC web frameworks (Ruby on Rails a plus) * Client-side performance and optimization experience * Be able to translate wireframes and mockups into code with a good grasp of document structure and semantics * Have a good visual design sense and understanding of basic usability concepts * Have excellent communication and organization skills
