Senior Manager, Marketing

Leading market research firm seeks a Sr. Manager of Marketing Effectiveness with strong statistical and quantitative analysis skills. The Sr. Manager will develop marketing mix and statistical models, consult to Fortune 500 senior and mid-level management on their use and interpretation to quantify what drives sales and use the results to increase market share, revenue, and profit. Must have strong client management and presentation skills. Proficient in SAS and PowerPoint.Position can be remote (within the U.S.) but will include approximately 30% overnight travel. Regular trips to Chicago will also be required.

* Understand client needs for quantitative analysis of marketing effectiveness * Develop and test model specifications to meet client needs * Create decks to present to clients and report results as well as give guidance based on analysis * Use existing company code and presentation templates to assist with all phases of project -- data readers, model specifications, automated modeling tools, websites, etc. * Advise Software Engineering on refinement of software and web services tools

* Graduate degree in Business (with quantitative emphasis) Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * 6+ years’ experience in marketing or media analysis * Media planning and/or marketing mix modeling experience a strong plus * Experience with working with syndicated data a plus
