Finance Manager

Amazon seeks a high performing Finance Manager to join the Amazon Fresh Finance team based in Seattle. In combination with other responsibilities, the Finance Manager will support the Amazon Fresh Retail team driving the Produce and Perishable Food categories. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have the demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business.

* Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc project analyses, and financial modeling * Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management * Manage the financial planning and analysis effort, forecasting various metrics for financial risks and opportunities * Develop ad-hoc business analysis and present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions * Establish and maintain operating and business metrics * Work with accounting team to drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process

* Strong financial modeling & analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving. * Superior attention to detail. * Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and dealing with ambiguity. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion. * Comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting their findings to senior management. * Proficiency in financial and accounting systems (Cognos). * Persuasive verbal & written communication skills * Advanced knowledge of Excel * Knowledge of SQL is a strong plus. * MBA preferred. **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field. * 5+ years of relevant finance experience
